Make it stand out.
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
In 2007, after the sudden death of Billy Kelly, founder of The Big Big Country festival, The Fallen Angels Club launched the Glasgow Americana festival.
Glasgow Americana has grown year on year – the Hall Of Fame reads like a Who’s Who of the best Americana music around with Americans and Canadians coming to visit us.
Sturgill Simpson, Yola, Steve Forbert, Tom Russell, Bruce Cockburn, Slaid Cleaves Jason & The Scorchers, the legendary Kinky Friedman, Mary Gauthier, The Wailin’ Jennys, Sam Baker, Kim Richey, Crooked Still, Robbie Fulks, The Hotclub Of Cowtown, The Handsome Family, Tift Merritt, and the late great Jimmy LaFave have all played the festival plus lots more..
The best of Scottish talent has been showcased at our festival over the year, incredible talent like Jill Jackson, Roddy Hart, Blue Rose Code, Martha L Healy, Yvonne Lyon, Adriana Spina plus so many more….
Other UK acts including Ben Glover, Danny George Wilson, Australian Emily Barker, Boo Hewerdine, Bennett, Wilson & Poole, Sarah Jane Scouten plus a whole so many other great acts…
As always we thank Creative Scotland for their invaluable and continued support.
Now in our 17th year we look forward to so many more years of providing the city of Glasgow the Glasgow Americana festival.

“It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.”
